His Forensic Psychology experience began in 1994 at Warren Correctional Institution.  Dr. Kennedy enjoys working with local law enforcement, court systems, and probation agencies as both a consultant and an on-call negotiation and de-escalation expert.  In addition, his work has included assessment, treatment, and testimony in the cases of sex offenders, misdemeanor and felony criminals with other offenses, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing with first responders and victims.

His assessment and courtroom-ready report skills extend to  Sex Offender Evaluations, Divorce or Custody hearings, Dangerousness or Risk of Harm Assessment, Competency to Stand Trial, and NGRI evaluations.
